Christmas Jumper Day 2024

18 Dec 24

Thank you to everyone for wearing your festive Christmas Jumpers and for turning Sheldon into a winter wonderland! Our Sixth Form students opted to wear Christmas PJs today, adding a cosy feel to the Common Room.

Our annual Christmas Lunch looked and smelled amazing! It's a real credit to our catering staff that prepared over 300 plates of Christmas dinner...that's a lot of pigs in blankets! They made the Refectory magical with tinsel, lights and Christmas tunes!

This year we decided to use our Christmas Jumper Day to raise funds for the local organisations that were impacted by the flooding last month. All money collected today will be split between the Doorway and Chippenham Scouts appeals, along with the funds we raised during the recent school production and concert. Thank you to everyone who donated for your support!

We hope all of our students and staff enjoyed the festivity today and that you all have a wonderful holiday!

Sheldon gave me confidence in my abilities and supported my ambitions. Going to a state school has many benefits over private in terms of real-world experience and being friends with a varied group of students. This has helped me in my life since school.
