Primary Christmas Cross Country 2024

13 Dec 24

This morning, our Year 9 and Year 10 Sports Ambassadors marshalled the Christmas Cross Country course for over 500 children from local primary schools. They battled the cold and cheered on all the children running around the Hardenhuish and Sheldon fields! At the festive, tinsel finish line, the children were greeted with a singing Santa and his back-up reindeer! It was a wonderful way to share a little Christmas spirit with the schools in our community and is an annual tradition we love at Sheldon--no matter the weather!

As always we could not run these events without the support of our Sports Leaders and Sports Ambassadors. Mrs Porter hopes you've all warmed up and thanks each of you!

Sheldon gave me confidence in my abilities and supported my ambitions. Going to a state school has many benefits over private in terms of real-world experience and being friends with a varied group of students. This has helped me in my life since school.
