Are you supporting a young person with applying to university, and want to know more about student finance? This webinar is aimed at parents and carers to help you better understand the student finance process and introduce you to some of the support on offer from universities.

We will discuss student loans and repayments, take you through the application process with important dates and deadlines, and provide in insight into some of the scholarships, bursaries, and other financial support available at UEA. This is the opportunity to get your questions answered and gain confidence in supporting your young person.

As a live, participative event, this session will not be recorded but slides and other resources will be shared after the event.

Suitable for: All parents/carers supporting a young person with applying to university, and want to know more about student finance? The content of the webinar is based on students who are eligible for home fees. To check eligibility and find out more (check here). Preparation/Pre-Reading: You may wish to consider questions they have about student finance and available support.

The IT Setup: The event will be run on Zoom and participants will be able to join using laptops, tablets, and mobile devices. You will be able to interact with the university via typed comments and questions. Full details will be sent to those who have registered (see below) prior to the event.
