2024 Christmas Lectures at Oxford Natural History Museum

11 Dec 24

On 10 December, we took our Year 9 scientists to the Oxford Natural History Museum for the annual Christmas Lecture event. The students had a opportunity to listen to two lectures and had plenty of time to explore the museum and try some of the activities. It was a wonderful way for our students to experience science outside of the classroom. They were wonderful representatives of Sheldon School and had a brilliant time.

Sheldon gave me confidence in my abilities and supported my ambitions. Going to a state school has many benefits over private in terms of real-world experience and being friends with a varied group of students. This has helped me in my life since school.
