We're very excited to announce our plans for Children in Need 2024. This is a highlight of the year and a chance to have some fun while supporting a great cause!

The theme this year is 'make life lighter for children'. Children across the UK are facing greater challenges than ever, with mental health conditions such as anxiety & depression rising, high levels of poverty leading to inequality & lack of opportunity. Only with your support can Children in Need help to lighten the load for hundreds of thousands of children when they need us most.

This year we will kick things off a day early with the Year 10 Bake Sale on Thursday 14 November outside the Refectory. The next day, Friday 15 November will be a non-uniform day. Please bring in £1 donation to Tutor.

We'll also have an action packed lunch time with the Year 8 Bake Sale outside the Refectory and the Year 9 Bake Sale in the Dance Studio. Please drop off any baked goods (without nuts) to your Head of Year's Office on the morning of the sale. Year 11 and Sixth Form will be organising Splat the Teacher in the open area between Science and the Sixth Form building. This is unsurprisingly very popular. Make sure you bring plenty of money to throw a soaking sponge or a full bucket of cold water at your favourite teachers.

Year 7 will have a Sweet Sale and Talent Show in the School Hall. If you'd like to perform in the Talent Show, see Miss Owen to sign up on Monday. It will be £1 entry for Year 7 students to watch the the talent show. Please bring in donations of sweets to Miss Owen by Wednesday.
