Congratulations to the team for 7LLP who won the Lego Masters Inter-Tutor Challenge, receiving the coveted Lego trophy during the Year 7 assembly today. Fifteen teams took part across tutor groups competing to build the tallest towers. The winners of the tower leg of the competition then went on to the final, where the challenge was to build the longest cantilever.

The team from 7LLP won with an impressive cantilever that held a weight 95cm from the edge of the desk! Their design featured amazing engineering and they showed fantastic teamwork.

Well done to all of the teams that competed across the term and to the two other teams from 7SJW and 7ISP that made it into the final!

Next term Lego Club will become Lego Robotics. Students will design and programme robots to solve Lego puzzles. If you have a child in Year 7 and think they'd be interested in Lego Robotics, encourage them to sign up in with their tutor.

The school reinforced my core values and built friendships that have continued to this day, drama gave me the confidence to begin to stand in front of strangers and speak to groups.
