Great Big Dance Off South West Competition

Our KS3 Dance Company competed in the South West regional heat of the The Great Big Dance Off earlier in the week against 12 other schools in the region.

They were runners up and coming just behind the independent school and reigning champions, Stroud High School. They will now go on to compete in the Grand National Final on July 1st in Cheltenham against all the other regional finalists across England.

Our talented dancers have shown exceptional commitment, putting hours of rehearsals in with Miss Spalding. If you were at our Step Into It performance in March, you'll know how much talent we have at Sheldon.

We are all very proud of them and look forward to hearing all about their success this summer!

I was head girl in 2015 and loved being able to speak to parents about my time at Sheldon when they were considering where their children should go. Because of how it has shaped me as a person I feel I am who I am today because of my time there.
