National Youth Dance Company Workshop

Earlier this week our dance GCSE and A Level dance students participated in a workshop led by the National Youth Dance Company. Dan and Orla delivered the 2 hour workshop which was based on repertoire taken from work produced by Wayne McGregor. Dan Baines is a former Sheldon staff member and is now a successful touring freelance dance artist.

We'd like to thank the NYDC for coming to work with our students. The company is based at Sadlers Wells in London and works in conjunction with practitioner Wayne McGregor who our students study at GCSE and A level.

Sheldon Dance has had a busy and successful year. Thank you to all of our dedicated students -- you have been amazing!

Sheldon gave me confidence in my abilities and supported my ambitions. Going to a state school has many benefits over private in terms of real-world experience and being friends with a varied group of students. This has helped me in my life since school.
