This morning we celebrated our new Prefects for the 2024-2025 school year with a breakfast during morning tutor time. Mr Lynch and Head of Year, Mrs Hall, handed out their new prefect ties and badges. They now begin their new role in the school as leaders and mentors to younger students. Their duties begin tomorrow with Prefects assisting with our Try & Buy Uniform sale for new students and with our Out of Area Taster Day.

Sheldon Prefects are an important part of school life. They help our new Year 7 students settle into their tutor group during the first term of the year, organise charity initiatives and represent the school during special events. They are a role model to other students, daily demonstrating our school values to be kind, be brave and be the best you!

If any Prefects would like to donate their old school ties for our Pre-Loved Uniform sale, please drop them off at Reception.

Having worked in many schools I can say that the environment at Sheldon School is one of the best I’ve ever seen. The standard of education and relationships I built with teachers were exceptional.
