We are delighted to announce that we will be running a Reverse Advent again this year. Unlike a normal advent calendar, which typically involves the receipt of something each day, such as chocolate, the focus of a Reverse Advent is on giving instead, with a view to helping people who are less fortunate than ourselves at Christmas.

The Reverse Advent will take place on Monday 4 December 2023. Please send items in with your child to bring to tutor time where they will be collected by tutor reps and organised by the Year 11 Charity Prefect Committee.

In a change from our normal approach, and in light of the ongoing cost of living crisis, we will be using the donations to make Christmas hampers for members in our community facing financial hardship. If you ware facing hardship this Christmas season, please click here to request a hamper. If the form does not work, email cwolff@sheldonschool.co.uk.

Having worked in many schools I can say that the environment at Sheldon School is one of the best I’ve ever seen. The standard of education and relationships I built with teachers were exceptional.
