Due to severe flooding on the surrounding roads in the Chippenham area, it is unsafe for students and staff to travel to Sheldon School. Therefore, the school will be closed today, 25th November. The other two secondary schools locally have also agreement and will be shut also.

The safety of our school community is our top priority. Please avoid unnecessary travel and take care if you are affected by the flooding.
We will keep you updated regarding reopening plans through email, the school website and social media channels.
Staff will be setting students work to complete online like they did recently during the power outage.

Please ask students to login to Epraise in the usual way to access work. But please allow some time for staff to set this, this morning.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Sheldon gave me confidence in my abilities and supported my ambitions. Going to a state school has many benefits over private in terms of real-world experience and being friends with a varied group of students. This has helped me in my life since school.
