Thank you to everyone who participated in today's staff v. students volleyball match in aid of the Bristol Children's Hospital Charity Grand Appeal. The atmosphere in the Sports Hall was electric as the teams went head-to-head in a very competitive match. The staff would like to claim victory, but the students may have some other opinions on the outcome!

Along with the volleyball match, we had a fantastic cake sale. Thank you to everyone who donated delicious Valentine's Day themed treats. Congratulations to Lexi-Lou in Y7 who won the Guess the Name of the Teddy competition and now gets to take home Tatty and to Patrick in Y13 who correctly guessed the number of sweets in the jar.

We'd like to thank all of the members of our Student Leadership Team for organising this wonderful event. It was the perfect way to end the term! Thank you to everyone who donated for this great cause. We'll have a final fundraising total when we return at the end of February.

Sheldon gave me confidence in my abilities and supported my ambitions. Going to a state school has many benefits over private in terms of real-world experience and being friends with a varied group of students. This has helped me in my life since school.
