Welcome Science Ambassadors

27 Sep 23

Our new Year 9 Sheldon Science Ambassadors were in action this morning supporting our Primary Science lessons with children visiting from Marshfield Primary School. These impressive young scientists helped support the Year 5 and 6 pupils as they explored the exciting world of science through several practical experiments.

Later in the year or Science Ambassadors will facilitate the Year 7 Science Fair, help with the Open Evening and support the KS3 science club. Some members will also work on Sheldon's Mini Market Garden - sowing, tending and harvesting fresh produce!
We're looking forward to seeing how the latest group for of Science Ambassadors contribute to the school and continue the long tradition of excellent contributions by previous students!

Sheldon gave me confidence in my abilities and supported my ambitions. Going to a state school has many benefits over private in terms of real-world experience and being friends with a varied group of students. This has helped me in my life since school.
