We will keep you updated with events for students exploring their post-18 options via your school email and the Sixth Form Notes. This page will be updated as events become available.

St Mary's Calne would like to invite students to our annual online information evening about studying at Oxford or Cambridge, or Medicine at any University. The event will be streamed via Teams; see the link below. The evening will include separate sessions including information about the application process, studying Medicine, and what it is like to be a student at an Oxford or Cambridge college. You are welcome to join for individual or all sessions; the event will also be recorded subject to speaker permissions.

We are running a virtual GP work experience day for prospective applicants to gain insights into the daily life of a GP and a GP trainee, explore pathways into general practice training, and engage in a simulated consultation of common conditions in a GP setting.

We have a fantastic in-person work experience day taking place in the February half term in Southampton at the Harbour Hotel on Tuesday 18th February. This is a fantastic day for your students to gain some experience and put something on their CV’s. We have some of the biggest companies joining us to host workshops and sessions with students around business, finance and law. KPMG, BDO, EY, Grant Thornton and others will be there on the day.
